Speaker: Beate Hildenbrand Beate Hildenbrand is representing the G+ Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation as the Head of G+ Americas. With an educational background in geography, Beate started her career as scientific project manager in atmospheric research and data modelling before she became Technical Manager for Environment and Health at the Energy Institute. In 2018 she joined the G+ as Manager Offshore Wind supporting them in delivering their work programme. In 2022 she was promoted to Head of G+ Americas to lead on the strategic development of the G+ programme and network in the Americas with the aim to improve health and safety performance in the global offshore wind industry.
Speaker: Derek Tao Dr. Ding (Derek) Tao is a Vaisala WindCube Scan wind lidar application manager specializing in maritime and aviation operations. He has a Ph.D. in remote sensing and has supported various lidar-based wind awareness projects, bringing sound technical expertise and R&D experiences to customized solution developments.
