Training on safe use of Vaisala K‑PATENTS® SAFE-DRIVE Process Refractometer PR-23-SD The SAFE-DRIVE process refractometers are used inline in the kraft pulp mills for measuring dry solids, liquid density, concentration, and Total Titrable Alkali (TTA). They are retractable devices while the operation is ongoing following the BLRBAC recommended good practice safe firing of black liquor in black liquor recover boilers. Vaisala's instructor-led user training on the SAFE-DRIVE system offers operators, new or more experienced a chance to learn and exercise in a safe, controlled environment and the experienced ones to brush up on equipment knowledge and safe operating practices.
