Vaisala performs well in supply chain sustainability assessment

Vaisala received a gold medal from EcoVadis, one of the world’s most trusted sustainability ratings providers. This places us in the top 5% among companies assessed by EcoVadis.

The rating methodology measures the quality of a company’s sustainability management system through its policies, actions, and results. The evaluation considers a range of sustainability issues under four themes: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainability procurement. Vaisala scored particularly high in the areas of environmental policies and actions, driven by our science-based emission reduction targets and the use of 100% renewable electricity.

Each year EcoVadis evaluates companies with standardized criteria, so far it has assessed over 130,000 companies worldwide during past years.
