Ethylene glycol at cooling systems
Ethylene glycol concentration measurement
Ethylene glycol is a colorless, odorless and rather viscous hygroscopic liquid with a sweet flavor.
Ethylene concentration must be at a certain level in cooling systems. In order to receive the desired concentration level of the ethylene, it is mixed with water in a mixing tank. Vaisala Polaris™ Process Refractometer is used for quality and ethylene concentration level control after the mixing tank.
