Vaisala will invest in a modern office building and laboratory facilities in Vantaa, Finland

Vaisala has decided to build an office building of about 7,900 m² at Vantaa headquarter site during the next three years. This new building is planned mainly for R&D function, and the building will include versatile and modern laboratory facilities. During the recent years, Vaisala has invested strongly in R&D, which has created need for new facilities in order to accelerate growth. The objective is to create flexible and modifiable workspaces for project teams and collaboration as well as to create environment, which will foster rapid prototype creation. Around 300 employees will be working in this building and it will be equipped with geothermal heating and cooling systems as well as other solutions supporting sustainability. During the next 2-3 years, this building project is estimated to almost triple Vaisala's annual investments compared to the current close to ten million euros level.
