VaiNet Wireless Temperature & Humidity Data Logger RFL100

for wireless monitoring of controlled areas

The RFL100 data loggers use Vaisala’s proprietary VaiNet wireless technology to monitor environments ranging from warehouses, to production areas, to cleanrooms and laboratories. VaiNet wireless technology is based on the LoRa®  modulation technique to provide a robust wireless signal that is extremely reliable over long distances and in complex, obstructed conditions. This wireless technology allows each data logger’s signal to travel over 100 m without the aid of signal amplifiers or repeaters.

RFL wireless data loggers connect to the VaiNet network using the Vaisala Access Point AP10. The RFL100 series data loggers are ideal for monitoring, alarming and reporting temperature and humidity in controlled environments. The RFL100 is also available as a temperature-only data logger or CO2 percentage data logger. The RFL100 data logger is ideal for monitoring of temperature and humidity in

Features

  • Reliable temperature and relative humidity measurement precision
  • Dedicated mounting bracket with temporary and permanent mounting methods (including optional magnets)
  • Each data logger uses standard alkaline batteries, typical battery life of 18 months, no need for costly battery replacements between recommended calibrations
  • Measurements are traceable to SI units through national metrology institutes (NIST USA, MIKES Finland, or equivalent) or ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratories
  • Cost-effective alternative to chart recorders
  • Replaceable high-accuracy RH and temperature probes
  • Probe replacement service available in some regions

Key benefits

Data integrity

The RFL temperature and humidity data loggers can record up to 30 days of measurements to the logger's internal memory. If there is any break in signal transmission, data recorded at the point of measurement is automatically transmitted when communications are restored. Data logger memory can also be downloaded directly using a USB cable.

Detachable probe for quick calibration

Probes are easily swapped on RFL data loggers to maintain accurate records and reliable data. The probes use Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Platinum RTD sensors provide superior stability.

Easy to use

Measurements are stored once every 60 seconds and the detailed custom LCD provides information about current conditions, battery life, alarm and signal status at a glance.
